For years we've seen small-scale organic growers wrestle with spreadsheets, lose their cool under pressure in the field or miss precious opportunities to turn in a profit. So in 2021, we decided that we could no longer wait for someone else to build the crop planning and management platform of our dreams. We had to do it ourselves. So Heirloom was born.

What's in a name ?

Our roots lay in the bygone era where abundant small-scale market gardens fed cities and towns all over Europe. We aim to preserve and pass down the methods and models from the past by forwarding them into the future, leveraging the power of technology to replace mass agriculture by agriculture by the masses.

Built by growers, for growers

Our team arises from the world of farming, education, technology and digital entrepreneurship. Based in the countryside outside of Montreal, Canada, our headquarters are based on a farm in the middle of a vibrant community of growers. We practice what we preach and share the good news.
