Check your crop rotation

Open the Crop Map
1 minute

Before placing your brassicas or your nightshades, see which families grew in each bed in past seasons, and colour the map by family to spot a bed that comes back too soon.

Colour the map by family

Open Options and turn on Display by crop family color. Every bar takes the colour of its botanical family instead of its crop, so two brassicas that follow each other in the same bed stand out.

See what grew in a bed before

Click Block informations on the right and pick the block in Select a block. Under Crop families history, each season lists the families that grew in each bed; click Show beds to open a season. Past seasons are read from your Crop Map.

Set how long each family waits

Write down the Rotation cycle in years of each family in Farm data > Crop families, so your rule is there for the whole team. Garlic and onions that need four years away from a bed, lettuce that can come back every season: adjust them to how you farm. The heavy, medium or light feeder of each crop is its nutrient demand in the crop catalogue.
