Move, edit or unassign a planting

Open the Crop Map
1 minute

Plans change during the season. Move a planting to another bed, correct its dates, or take it off its bed, straight from the Crop Map.

Move a planting to another bed

Drag its bar to another bed, in the same block or another one. The same rules apply as when you first placed it: the free beds light up, and a full bed refuses it. Its dates do not change: only where it grows.

Change its dates or cultivar

Click the bar, then the pencil. The planting form of the Game Plan opens: change the cultivar, the dates or the method, and save. The bed length is locked here; change it in the Game Plan so the bar gets redrawn at its new size.

Reach a planting hidden under another

When bars overlap, right-click them. Under Select Planting, pick the one you want: it comes to the front for a few seconds, long enough to drag it or open it.

Take a planting off its bed

Right-click it and choose Unassign Planting, or use the unassign button next to it in the plantings panel. The planting stays in your Game Plan and goes back to the Unassigned list. To clear a whole block, right-click the block and choose Unassign All Plantings.

Plantings from last season

A planting still in the ground from the season before, such as fall garlic, has one place for both seasons. Unassigning it asks you to confirm, because it also leaves last season’s Crop Map.
