Duplicate your season

Start next season from this one. Heirloom copies every planting to the new season, on the same week, with its tasks, and you adjust from there instead of starting from a blank page.

Open Duplicate season

In the Game Plan, open Actions, then Duplicate season. Crew managers and owners see this option.

Choose the seasons

In Copy from, choose the season to copy, and in Copy to, the new one, such as 2027 to 2028. The window tells you how many plantings it will duplicate.

Choose the seasons and whether beds come along

Choose what comes along

Include location assignments also copies the block and beds of each planting. Leave it off when you rotate your crops: you will then place the plantings on the Crop Map of the new season.

Include plantings that overlap with the seasons before and after also copies the plantings that straddle two seasons, like garlic planted in October and harvested the next summer.

Duplicate and review

Click Duplicate. Each planting lands on the same week and the same day of the week in the new season, with its tasks. Its state starts again from planned, and its harvested quantities are empty.

Then open the new season and go over it: rotations, new cultivars, a crop you are dropping, the successions that came in too late this year. You will find how in Manage your plantings.
