How the Nursery works

Open the Nursery
1 minute

The Nursery shows, week by week, how much of your propagation space your plan will fill, how many trays of each size you need, and what is on your tables right now. Heirloom works it out from your plantings.

See the season at a glance

At the top, a bar for each week shows how much of your nursery your plan needs, as a percentage of your Nursery space. Next to it, how full the nursery is today. Below, two tabs: Containers, the trays and pots you need, and Current plantings in nursery, what is on your tables now.

Know where the figures come from

Every transplanted planting of your Game Plan has a container, a number of plants and days in the nursery. Heirloom turns them into trays, and the trays into square metres, week after week. There is nothing to enter on this page besides your nursery space.

Give it three things

For the figures to hold: your nursery space, the dimensions of each container, and your nursery sowing and transplant tasks checked off as you go. See Set your nursery space and containers and Keep your nursery up to date.
