Flower Farming
How do I manage my cut flower farm with Heirloom?
Plan your flowers the way you plan vegetables, and Heirloom keeps the whole flower season in one place: beds, successions, harvests counted in stems and the revenue they bring. Less to track in notebooks, more time in the field.
- Choose your flowers: in the Crop Library, the Type filter next to the search box keeps only Flowers; bookmark the ones you grow. Choose your flowers in the Crop Library.
- Plan successions: dahlias, zinnias or sunflowers go into the Game Plan like lettuce, several plantings a few weeks apart, each on its own beds. Plan a succession.
- Count in stems: in Crop yield, set the Harvest unit to stems, the yield of a bed and your price, and every planting shows what it should bring in. Set yields and prices for your flowers.
- Bulbs and perennials: tulips planted in the fall keep their beds until they bloom, and peonies come back on the same beds each season. Plan perennials and fall-planted flowers.

Flowers alone or next to your vegetables, it is the same plan and the same Crop Map. Start with Grow cut flowers with Heirloom.
