Charts
What crop spacing and days to maturity should I use in a market garden?
Start from proven numbers, make them yours once, and stop retyping them. In Heirloom’s Charts, every crop and cultivar comes with rows per bed, spacing on the row, days to maturity and harvest window, ready to use.
Change a value as soon as your farm tells you otherwise: your carrots all go in at 4 rows, a storage carrot needs more days. Every planting you add to your Game Plan is then filled from your own numbers.
Days to maturity also change with the week you plant. The Climate-adjusted DTM column shows, crop by crop, how they stretch or shorten on your farm, so an early spring sowing gets the extra days it really needs.
