Put your best-paying crops in your beds and leave no bed idle for weeks: that is the heart of Jean-Martin Fortier’s market gardener method, and Heirloom shows you where the money and the empty weeks are.

• Compare crops: in Crop yield, the revenue per bed of each crop, from your own yield and price, shows which crops earn their space.
• Fill the gaps: turn on Used Space in the Game Plan’s display options to see, week by week, how much of your beds your plan takes, then plan successions to fill the weeks a bed stands empty.
• Check the result: Season Harvests compares projected and recorded harvests, with their revenue, so next season starts from what each crop really gave.

A more profitable season on the same ground is also a more resilient farm.
