What happens to my plantings if I change my season’s start date?

Nothing moves in the field: your plantings keep their dates, so your work is safe. Season starts in, in Settings, Season & climate, only sets the 12 months each season covers.

Plantings are shown by their dates, so after the change a planting appears in every season whose 12 months hold its dates, sometimes two. Pick the month your growing year really starts, such as January, and set it before you plan rather than in the middle of a season.
