Game Plan

Why can’t I edit a planting that started last season?

Because it belongs to the season it was planned in. A planting that starts in one season and ends in the next, such as garlic planted in the fall or tulips set out in October, carries over: it shows in the new season and keeps its beds there, but you change it in its own season.

When you open it, its panel shows a message asking you to return to the year it was planned in. Switch to that season in the top bar of the app to edit or move it. If you unassign it from this season’s Crop Map, Heirloom warns you that it also comes off the previous season’s Crop Map.
