Add a greenhouse

Create the greenhouse

Click Add to map, then Greenhouse. Name it, set its Beginning year, then the number of beds and their dimensions: greenhouse beds often have narrower paths than field beds.

Click Create, then place and turn it on the map like a field block, and click Done.

Know how Heirloom uses it

A greenhouse is a permanent covered structure: it shows in blue on the map, and its beds appear in your Crop Map as their own location. When a planting is planned for the greenhouse, the list of plantings to place shows the greenhouse icon next to it, so you know it goes on greenhouse beds.

Your caterpillar, mini and high tunnels are not greenhouses: they go over the beds of a field block and can move from year to year. See Add tunnels to your field blocks.
