How do I plan a school garden around the school year?

Plan it like a small market garden, with a season that follows the school calendar. The class then learns from a real crop plan, and the teacher keeps the whole garden in one place instead of on scattered sheets.

1. Make the season follow the school year: in Settings > Season & climate, set Season starts in to the month school starts, such as September. Your planning year then runs twelve months from that month. See Set up your farm.
2. Plan the garden in the Game Plan as a grower would: plantings, successions, and the tasks Heirloom creates from them. A planting that starts in one season and finishes in the next shows in both.
3. Invite the students: Reader to follow the plan without changing anything, Crew member to manage and tick off their own tasks. See Invite your team to your farm.
4. A teacher who follows several gardens switches between them from the farm selector; farms you are invited to cost you nothing. See Work across several farms.
