Choose your favorites for the season

Open the Crop Library
2 minutes

Bookmark the crops and cultivars you grow this year. Your favorites are this season’s shortlist: they come first when you plan a planting, and your Charts can show only them.

Bookmark your crops

On a crop card, click the bookmark at the top right. It fills in, and the crop joins your favorites. Click again to take it out.

Bookmark the cultivars you will sow

Open a crop and go to Cultivars, or use the Cultivars tab of the library. Bookmark the varieties you ordered or plan to order. A cultivar you create is added to your favorites right away.

Know that favorites belong to the season

Favorites are kept per season: the list you see is the one of the season shown at the top of the app. Switch to next season and you start a new shortlist, without losing this year’s.

Heirloom also bookmarks a cultivar for you as soon as you use it this season: in a planting, a seed order or a seed lot. When you duplicate a season, the cultivars of the copied plantings come along; the crops you bookmarked do not, so go over your crop favorites at the start of each season.

See why some cultivars are locked

A favorite cultivar used by a planting shows a padlock instead of the bookmark. Hover it to see how many plantings use it. To take it out of your favorites, delete those plantings or change their cultivar first.

Where your favorites help

In the Game Plan, when you pick a cultivar for a planting, your favorites of that crop come first under Favorites, the rest under Others.

In the Charts, the Favorite crops quick filter keeps only the crops and cultivars in your favorites, so your tables show what you grow this year.

To see only your favorites in the library, use the Favorites filter under Others: see Search, filter and sort the library.
