Search, filter and sort the library

Open the Crop Library
1 minute

Find the few crops or cultivars you need among hundreds: type a name, narrow the list with filters, then choose the order. The library keeps your tab and filters for your next visit.

Pick the right tab, then type

The search box follows the tab you are on. On Crops, it looks in crop and family names: type Brassicaceae to see all your cabbages at once. On Cultivars, it looks in variety names, so type Napoli to find that carrot.

Narrow the list with filters

Each filter is a button next to the search box. Open it, tick what you want, and the list follows. On Crops: Type and Family. On Cultivars: Type, Crop and Seed company. Several ticks in one filter add up, and filters combine with each other.

Type filter open on the Crops tab with Vegetables ticked
Tick one or more types to narrow the list

Others holds two more: Source, to show only Heirloom or only Custom items, those your farm created; and Favorites, to show only what is In favorites this season, or the rest.

Others filter open with the Source and Favorites choices
Only your own items, or only this season’s favorites

The cross next to the filters clears them all at once.

Jump from a crop to its cultivars

On a crop card, click the cultivar count, or View cultivars in its menu. The library switches to Cultivars, already filtered on that crop.

Choose the order

Sort, on the right, orders the list by Name or Family, from A to Z or back. While you search, Relevance puts the best matches first.
