Keep seed records for organic certification
Open the Seeds InventoryYour inspector wants to know where every seed came from, whether it was organic or treated, and where you sowed it. Heirloom builds that record as you work, and exports it in one file.
Mark your certified seed companies
In the Crop Library, open Companies and click a seed company. Mark Organic certificate on file and, if you have it, paste the Certificate link (optional). The export lists it next to every lot from that company.

Record what matters on each lot
When you add a lot, keep the Lot number from the packet and set Organic and Untreated as printed. For treated or inoculated seed, open Treatment and inoculant on the row and name the product. These are the columns your inspector reads first.
Let your sowings fill in the fields
For conventional seed, certifiers ask where it was sown. Heirloom knows it when the seed left a lot through a sowing, automatic or recorded by hand in the task. See Keep your seed stock accurate.
Export the record
On Inventory, click Export, choose Seed Traceability as the Report and the Year of purchase, then Export. The spreadsheet has four sheets: your seed companies and their certificates, your seed lots with their organic status, treatments and the fields sown with conventional seed, your purchased transplants, and your plantings.

Add the stock on hand
The Inventory report, in the same window, gives the stock of each variety on the day you export it: seeds, weight, number of lots, oldest purchase and next expiry. Hand both files to your inspector and keep a copy with your farm records.
