Do my favorite crops carry over to next season?

No, and that keeps each season clean: favorites belong to one season, and last year’s list stays intact for reference. The list you see is the one of the season chosen at the top of the app: a new season starts a new shortlist.

Heirloom fills much of it for you: it bookmarks a cultivar as soon as you use it in the season, in a planting, a seed order or a seed lot. And when you Duplicate season, the cultivars of the copied plantings come along. The crops you bookmarked do not, so go over your crop bookmarks at the start of each season.
