Notes

How do I keep a farm journal or field logbook?

Use Notes: one logbook for the whole farm, shared with your team, so what you see in the field is written down once and in front of you again next season.

A note holds a title, your observation, up to five photos, tags such as Pests or Irrigation, and links to the plantings, crops and blocks it is about. Heirloom saves as you type.

For what belongs to a place, like soil, drainage or irrigation, link the note to the block with Blocks. Later, in the filters, pick that block under Locations to list every note about it, and add a tag to narrow it down.
